Electrification changes rural areas
VGP - Việt Nam has made breakthroughs in rural electrification over the past 10 years, and the process has contributed 30-40% to the economic development in its rural area.

electrification has also promoted economic restructuring, agricultural
development, and handicraft production.
Mr. Hoàng Quốc Vượng,
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said all districts, 98% of communes, and
nearly 95.1% of households throughout the country have already had access to the
national power grid.
