DPM Ninh works with investors in Binh Duong

VGP – Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh on May 21 held a working session with leaders of southern Binh Duong Province and representatives of the investors' association in the province to deal with damage caused by extremist protesters recently.

As of May 20, 92.5% of the total 1,128 enterprises in the localities has stabilized their operation.

Deputy PM Ninh confirmed that the law violators will be strictly and publicly treated.

He said he wanted to listen to domestic and foreign investors' measures for restoring their production as soon as possible.

Representatives of the Korean Trade - Investment Promotion Agency said that authorities and businesses need to keep calm and coordinate in helping employees losing their jobs due to the disturbance.

Representatives of the Japanese businesses confirmed to continue supporting Viet Nam and introducing more investors to Viet Nam.

The Binh Duong Provincial Labor Union said that workers at industrial parks are working together to protect their factories and overcoming the disturbance consequences.

Representatives of local businesses suggested that the Government and local authorities need to take move to make investors have peace of mind.

Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh affirmed that the Government will continue to create a favorable environment for businesses and pledges to realize the policies and mechanisms as committed.

He asserted that the provinial authorities have made efforts in supporting businesses in resuming their production.

He revealed that the Ministry of Finance will hold working sessions with insurance companies to help affected enterprises.

The tax sector will reduce and reschedule tax in terms of land rent and other expenditures for enterprises.

The State Bank of Viet Nam will direct credit organizations to work with the affected enterprises to extend deadline or increase credits./.
