DPM Ninh begins tour to US

VGP – Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh, head of the Steering Committee for international integration of the economy, will pay a working visit the US from September 15-19.

The Deputy PM will discuss a host of issues of concern in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement negotiations with the US partners, aiming to complete the negotiations and accelerate the economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two sides.

In Washington DC, the Deputy PM will hold bilateral meetings with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew and Trade Representative Michael Froman.

He will also meet with representatives from the Vietnamese scholar network in the US, attend the Roundtable with the US Business Community and have a working session with the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA).
