The Deputy Prime Minister's tour will be made at the President of the European Commission. Ursula von der Leyen

The Global Gateway is an initiative launched by the European Union that aims specifically at closing the investment gap in large-scale and global infrastructure.

For this reason, it is reflected as to the European Union Connectivity Strategy in official statements.

The forum, themed 'Stronger Together through Sustainable Investment', will bring together over 40 high-level government representatives from the European Union and partner countries and representatives from financial institutions, private sector, and international organizations.

The forum will focus on such topics as green energy transition and green hydrogen, education and research, critical raw materials, transport corridors, health products manufacturing, and digital infrastructure.

The European Union planned to mobilize 300 billion euro in development funds during the period 2021-2027, half of which is earmarked for Africa. In Southeast Asia, the European Union will implement its projects in Viet Nam, the Philippines and Indonesia./.
