Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang heads National Steering Committee on ODA and Preferential Loans
VGP - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang will lead the National Steering Committee for Official Development Assistance (ODA) and Preferential Loans, according to a Decision signed by the Prime Minister.

Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong will serve as deputy head of the Steering Committee.
Members of the Steering Committee include: Deputy Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Don Tuan Phong; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang; Deputy Minister of Justice Dang Hoang Oanh; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Dang Ngoc Diep; Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Danh Huy; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang; Deputy Minister of Health Le Duc Luan; Deputy Minister of Education and Training Doan Trung Kien; Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam Nguyen Ngoc Canh; Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Luu; and Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Hoang Nguyen Dinh.
The Steering Committee is responsible for putting foward to the Prime Minister orientations and policies to lure and use ODA and preferential loans in an effective manner.
It will also help the Prime Minister coordinate relevant authorities and localities in preparing and carrying out programs and projects using ODA or preferential loans.
In addition, it is assigned to collect feedbacks from Vietnamese agencies and sponsors, direct relevant agencies to complete management regulations, and streamline administrative procedures in ODA management and use to boost disbursement of the capital source./.
