The visits aim consolidate Viet Nam’s friendship, trust and cooperation with Mynamar and the RoK, particularly in such fields like economy, trade, investment, and finance-banking.
Specifically, Hue will discuss with Myanmar’s leaders on ways to accelerate the signing of an action program to implement the bilateral comprehensive partnership, established in 2017, for the 2019-2024 period, and to facilitate Vietnamese businesses’ investment in the country.
Meanwhile, Hue’s top priorities in the RoK include seeking ways to sustain strong trade and investment ties with the Northeast Asian country.
Both sides set the goal to increase two-way trade value to US$100 billion by the end of 2020.
Especially, during his stay in the RoK, Hue will co-chair the first Viet Nam-RoK economic dialogue./.
