The Deputy PM hailed Mr. Kim Hack-yong’s visit as meaningful to boosting the cooperative relations between the two nations’ National Assemblies in particular and the two nations’ Strategic Partnership in general.

The Vietnamese Government attaches importance to the Strategic Partnership with the RoK, he said, asking for enhancing high-ranking delegation exchanges to increase political trust  and expand cooperation.

The two sides are coordinating to prepare for the RoK’s President Mun Che In’s visit to Viet Nam to attend the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in the central city of Da Nang.

The Deputy PM expected that the RoK’s National Assembly would continue improving economic and trade effectiveness, taking effective measures to reduce the trade deficit of Viet Nam, providing non-refundable aid and Official Development Assistance as well as soon inking a credit agreement for 2016-2020.

He suggested the RoK’s National Assembly strengthen exchanges in terms of culture, education and tourism and facilitate the provision of visas for Vietnamese citizens.

Mr. Kim Hack-Yong asserted that the RoK will maintain its position as the largest investor in Viet Nam, supply more ODA and enhance cooperation in tourism and trade with Viet Nam.

He expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese Government for creating favorable conditions for the RoK’s businesses to launch operation in Viet Nam.
