Da Nang to stage New Year’s Eve fireworks at six venues
VGP - Da Nang is set to organize high-altitude fireworks displays at six locations on February 17 to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse.

The six fireworks display locations are: (i) The area in front of the Hoa Khanh Ward People's Committee (within the Kim Long Nam project site); (ii) Bach Dang Street at the intersection with Binh Minh Street; (iii) The Western Ring Road resettlement area in Hoa Vang Commune; (iv) Con Bap tourist area in Hoi An Ward; (v) 24-3 Square on Hung Vuong Street, Ban Thach Ward; and (vi) Nui Thanh Commune Square.
The displays will feature artistic fireworks without background music, using FireOne and L100S automatic firing systems. Both high- and low-altitude fireworks will be supplied by 21 Chemical Co., Ltd. under the General Department of National Defense Industry.
Strict measures will be implemented to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, rescue readiness, and traffic control on both roads and waterways before, during and after the fireworks displays.
Earlier, Ho Chi Minh City also announced a plan to organize fireworks displays at 17 locations on Lunar New Year's Eve 2026.
The Capital City of Ha Noi said it will organize fireworks displays at 31 locations with 32 launch sites on New Year's Eve, alongside a wide range of cultural and entertainment activities for residents and tourists. The Hoan Kiem Lake area and the Old Quarters will remain key highlights, featuring traditional Tet experience spaces, displays of handicrafts, and art exhibitions./.
