VGP - The World Bank (WB) and the Da Nang People’s Committee held a conference on August 27 to look at how to realize “Da Nang City Sustainable Development Project”.

August 28, 2013 2:16 PM GMT+7

The project has a total investment of $272 million in ODA financed by WB.

It has five components including Drainage and Wastewater Improvement; Bus Rapid Transit Development; Urban Strategic Roads; Technical Assistance and Capacity Building regarding project management and operation.

Once completed 2018, Da Nang will boast high quality infrastructure, and well managed and qualified public transport services. It will also serve as a sustainable development model in Viet Nam.

At the conference, a representative of the Da Nang People’s Committee committed to managing and realizing the project components as scheduled and with good quality, contributing to increasing the living conditions of residents and successfully implementing the local socio-economic development targets.
