The eight teams come from the U.S., France, China, Austin, Australia, the UK, Switzerland, and Viet Nam.
The competition was inspired by Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son), a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, south of Da Nang City. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth).
Accordingly, five firework shows under the five elements will be held on every Saturday nights from April 29 to June 24, 2017. The last show will take place on June 24, 2017.
Under the motto “Sparking Ngu Hanh Son,” the eight teams will have a 25-minute show each.
The DIFF 2017 targets to welcome 2 million tourists to Da Nang./.
