Cua Van fishing village

Located six hours from Ha Noi, this 700-person floating fishing village in Ha Long Bay is stunning, thanks to teal water, colorful raft houses, limestone hills and winding streets.

“Sure, we love big, bustling cities. But there’s something to be said for small towns where life moves slower, traditions are everywhere and the people stop to say hello”, the magazine wrote.

The village is a tranquil haven for holiday makers who want to experience lives of local people as well as their traditional culture.

Cua Van is deemed as the largest fishing village in the Ha Long Bay, a World Cultural Heritage site.

Other destinations in the list include Sidi Bou Said (Tunisia), Bled (Slovenia), Napa Valley Franschoek (South Africa), Anneccy (France), Guilin (China), Rein (Norway), Vernazza (Italy), Paros (Greece), Queenstown (New Zealand) and Salvador (Brazil)./.
