The expansion project has total investment capital of VND2.9 trillion (or US$126.4 million). Once expanded, the 33.5 km Ha Noi-Hung Yen inter-provincial road will have four lanes for motor vehicle and two lanes for road rudimentary vehicle.

The 20 kilometer-highway connecting Ha Noi–Hai Phong and Cau Gie–Ninh Binh expressways passing through Hung Yen province will be invested with VND1.4 trillion (US$61 million).

The construction of two projects aims to complete essential transport infrastructure for the locality in particularly and for the region in general, serving for the people’s demands for travel and goods transportation and making contribution to the local socio-economic development.
