Congratulations to new Prime Minister of France

Earlier, France's President Emmanuel Macron appointed Labour Minister Elisabeth Borne as the country's new prime minister, the first woman to hold the position in three decades.

Borne, 61, is the first woman named as prime minister since Edith Cresson briefly holding the position during the presidency of Socialist leader Francois Mitterrand in the early 1990s.

Viet Nam and France set up diplomatic ties on April 12, 1973. The two countries are expected to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties and 10 years of the strategic partnership in 2023./.
