According the overall planning scheme recently approved by the PM for the Chân Mây-Lăng Cô EZ in the central province of Thừa Thiên-Huế, the EZ consists of different urban functional quarters.

The Chân Mây Port is located at the Chân Mây Đông Cape, covering 370 ha. A 120-ha logistics center is situated at the junction of National Highway 1A and the road to the Chân Mây Port. There are also a 4,570-ha area for eco-tourism and high-class apartments.

The non-tariff quarter, industrial and hi-tech parks and urban service quarter will cover 2,040 ha.
