Cambodian Prime Minister arrives in Viet Nam for two-day official visit
VGP - Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet arrived in Ha Noi on Monday morning, starting his two-day official visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

This is Hun Manet's first visit to Viet Nam and the first to a ASEAN country since he took office in August.
The Cambodian Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Dith Tina, Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Hem Vanndy, Minister of Tourism Sok Soke, Minister in Charge of Border Affairs Committee Lam Chea.
Prime Minister Hun Manet's official visit to Viet Nam aims to further consolidate and further traditional friendship between the two countries, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sok Chenda Sophea told the Viet Nam News Agency's correspondents in Phnom Penh.
Viet Nam and Cambodia established diplomatic relations on June 24, 1967.
Looking back on the special relationship over the past nearly 60 years, he said the relationship has become closer, and is looking forward to a longer future.
The two-way trade turnover reached over US$10.57 billion last year, an increase of nearly 11 percent against 2021. In the first nine months of this year, the figure stood at US$6.5 billion.
Viet Nam has 205 active investment projects in Cambodia with a total registered capital of US$2.94 billion, becoming the largest ASEAN investor and one of the five largest investors globally in Cambodia./.
