Cabinet deliberates on draft bills
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presides over a Cabinet meeting on Thursday to delibrate three draft bills and three law proposals.
Specifically, the Cabinet will scrutinize amendments and supplement to the Chemnical Law, Advertising Law, and Law on Standards and Technical Regulations.
Newly proposed bills include Law on Data, Law on Disease Prevention, Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Medical Insurance.
Since 2021 when the new Government was formed, the Prime Minister tasked ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies and chairmen of localities to directly lead institutional building work and to ensure the quality of legal documents, Pham said in his opening remarks.
The new Government has organized 26 thematic meetings and one national conference to discuss around 100 law proposals and submit more than 60 laws and resolutions to the National Assembly for approval, and promulgated more than 350 decrees, according to Pham./.
