Bulgarian Rose to bloom

VGP - The biggest ever rose festival in Viet Nam will be held from March 3-8 in Ha Noi.

The festival is organised by the Embassy of Bulgaria in Viet Nam and the Viet Nam-Bulgaria Friendship Association.

The island in Thong Nhat Park will be decorated with more than 300 species of roses. During 6 days of the festival, many activities will be held such as street festivals; Queen of Rose beauty contest; flower festival; street parade; music festival by bands of Bulgarian and Vietnamese artists; wedding dress with roses; introducing products of rose essential oil, Bulgarian cosmetics from roses, rose wine.

In addition, products made from roses and Bulgarian food will be on display.

The festival aims to celebrate the National Day of Bulgaria on March 3 and International Women’s Day on March 8.

The opening ceremony will take place at 9 am on March 3 at Thong Nhat Park, Ha Noi.
