Bangkok Airways launches Bangkok-Cam Ranh direct route

VGP - Bangkok Airways on January 25 launched direct Bangkok - Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa province) route.

January 25, 2019 5:12 PM GMT+7

The carrier will operate this route 4 times a week on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, using 144-seat Airbus A319. The direct flight takes nearly two hours.

Flight PG994 from Cam Ranh is scheduled to land in Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok later the same day.

Bangkok Airways is the first international airline to open a direct flight between Bangkok and Cam Ranh, which is the fourth destination of the carrier in Viet Nam, following the launching of the air routes of Bangkok-Da Nang in May 2016, Bangkok-Phu Quoc in October 2017 and Chiang Mai-Ha Noi in March 2018.

Located near the resort city of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province, Cam Ranh boasts pristine and mesmerising beaches that have yet to be marred by human hands.

Cam Ranh Airport receives more than 30 international flights per day now. The new service is exptected to attract more visitors to the central coastal city of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa province.

The Bangkok-based airline currently operates three routes between Viet Nam and Thailand including Danang – Bangkok, Phu Quoc – Bangkok and Ha Noi – Chiang Mai.

The regional airline of Thailand provides services to destinations in Thailand, Cambodia, China, Japan, Laos, Maldives, Myanma, Singapore and Viet Nam.
