Argentine Foreign Minister to pay three-day official visit to Viet Nam
VGP - Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship Santiago Andrés Cafiero will pay an official visit to Viet Nam from July 9-11, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang told reporters on Thursday.

The visit is made at the invitation of Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son.
Viet Nam and Argentina established diplomatic ties on October 25, 1973. Next year, the two nations will celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of the diplomatic relations.
Both sides upgraded bilateral ties to comprehensive partnership in 2010.
In 2021, the bilateral trade value hit over US$4.5 billion, up 14.1 percent against the previous year.
Argentina is currently the third largest trade partner of Viet Nam in Latin America.
Last year, Argentina donated 500,000 AstraZeneca vaccine doses to Viet Nam to fight against COVID-19.
