ARF shares experience of countering cyber financial-economic scam
VGP – The 7th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Inter-session Meeting on Counter-terrorism and Transnational Crimes (IMS–CTTC) was officially kick-started on Tuesday in Hà Nội.

Under the theme “Prevention and countering cyber financial-economic scam”, the meeting gathered representatives from 27 countries, including ten ASEAN member states, China, Japan, India, the U.S., Canada, Australia and the EU.
At the meeting, participants will assess the situation pertaining to terrorism and transnational crimes in the ARF region, review the implementation of ARF decisions on this field, and share experience of countering cyber financial-economic scam in each country and the whole region.
Moreover, future cooperation within the ARF ISM-CTTC is also placed on the table.
According to senior official from the host Foreign Ministry, Việt Nam is determined to shake hands with other ARF members for more effective operations.
