Algerian President lauds Viet Nam’s development achievements
VGP - Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune highly valued Viet Nam’s role and position globally as well as its achievements in national development and international integration while hosting a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to Algeria Tran Quoc Khanh.
Receiving the credentials of Ambassador Tran Quoc Khanh on June 6, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune welcomed the newly accredited Ambassador to Algeria and assured him that Algeria would create all conditions for the ambassador to fulfil his duties during the new working term.
Also, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune noted that both Algeria and Viet Nam treasure traditional friendly relations, laying an important foundation for further promoting the friendship and multifaceted cooperation in the interest of the two peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Tran affirmed Viet Nam's desire to consolidate and further develop a fine traditional friendship and cooperation with Algeria.
The diplomat promised that during his working term, he would try his best to contribute to raising the two countries' relations to new heights, including enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, fisheries, culture - education and national defence.
On the occasion, Tran conveyed Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong's greetings to President Tebboune on this occasion./.
