Additional 1,088 COVID-19 cases confirmed
VGP - The Ministry of Health confirmed additional 1,088 COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

All the latest patients are domestic infections, with Ha Noi reporting the most with 238 cases, followed by the northern provinces of Bac Ninh and Yen Bai with 116 and 58 cases, respectively.
The provincial Department of Health of the northern province of Quang Ninh reported additional 1,120 cases, raising total cases on Thursday to 2,208 and Viet Nam's national COVID-19 patient tally to 10,722,634.
The ministry said there were 5,820 new recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 9,477,660.
It also announced further one fatality, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 43,080 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload.
The Southeast Asian nation has administered 221,558,297 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 162,435 doses from Wednesday./.
