63 provinces and cities extend school closure by mid-March

VGP – All 63 provinces and cities decided to continue closing schools of nursery, primary, and secondary levels until March 15, the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) reported.

Seven provinces and cities including Ha Noi, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien-Hue, Son La, and Tien Giang declared school closure from nursery to high-school education.

Meanwhile, 56 out of 63 provinces and cities allowed high-school learners to come back to school from March 9. Only Tuyen Quang and Vinh Long provinces permitted 12th-grade pupils to return to school.

Regarding university education, 54 units decided school reopening from March 9. Up to 24 others are scheduled for March 16. So far, 24 universities have yet made decision on reopening in March./.
