17 Vietnamese banks named among the largest in Asia Pacific
VGP- Seventeen Vietnamese banks have been named among the 500 strongest banks in the Asia Pacific region, according to a report released by the Asian Banker magazine.

The list was based on assets of banks in the region, including countries and territories like Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Viet Nam.
The Asia Pacific Banks’ Performance list is based on criteria such as growth in profit, growth in loans, growth in deposits, return on assets, return on equity, cost to income ratio, non-interest income ratio, gross non-performing loans ratio and capital adequacy ratio.
