15th Legislature opens third plenary session
VGP - The 15th National Assembly opened its third plenary session in Ha Noi on May 23.
During the 19-day session, the legislators are set to consider and pass five draft laws, three resolutions, and debate on six other bills.
The five bills planned to be approved are Law on Mobile Police, Law on Cinema (revised), Law on Insurance Business (revised), Law on Emulation and Commendation (revised), and Law on Intellectual Property (revised).
Six draft laws to be put on the table for discussion are Petroleum Law (revised), Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control (revised), Law on Inspection (revised), Law on the implementation of grassroots democracy, Law on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Radio Frequencies, and Law on medical examination and treatment (revised).
In addition, the law-makers will scrutinize socio-economic development and State budget performance and other important issues.
