14th Party Congress in eyes of foreign diplomats
VGP - Foreign ambassadors in Viet Nam have expressed their confidence in the success of the ongoing 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

Chinese Ambassador to Viet Nam He Wei
Bringing the nation into a new era
Chinese Ambassador to Viet Nam He Wei said he was particularly impressed by the political mettle and strong resolve of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, led by General Secretary To Lam.
The Central Committee has guided the Vietnamese people in deepening reforms, strengthening the Party’s leadership, and focusing on the implementation of four pillar resolutions on innovation in science and technology, international integration, legislation and law enforcement, and the development of the private sector.
It has also actively promoted institutional reforms of the Party and the Government, as well as the merger of provinces and cities, achieving a series of unprecedented results and accomplishments.
Ambassador He Wei was convinced that under the wise leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam headed by General Secretary To Lam, the Party and the Vietnamese people will successfully organize the 14th National Congress, firmly ushering the country into a new era, advancing national development, and making new and greater contributions to peace and development in the region and the world.
In his view, upholding the leadership of the Communist Party and the socialist system is the most fundamental common characteristic of both China and Viet Nam, and the most solid political foundation for the development of Viet Nam–China relations. The two countries will continue to resolutely safeguard the leadership of the Communist Party and the security of the socialist system, and firmly support each other in pursuing each country’s “Red Vision” in Party building and national development.

Russian Ambassador to Viet Nam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko
Making positive changes
Russian Ambassador to Viet Nam Gennady Stepanovich Bezdetko highly praised Viet Nam’s “undeniable” achievements over the past five years, marked by strong GDP growth and rising incomes, stable inflows of foreign investment and technology, modernized transport infrastructure, and increasingly simplified administrative procedures.
The Ambassador affirmed that these achievements were made possible thanks to the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, the Vietnamese State, and the Government.
“As a comprehensive strategic partner of Viet Nam, we are delighted by your successes and congratulate you on these achievements,” Ambassador Bezdetko said.
He also emphasized that the 14th National Party Congress is a very important political event for Viet Nam, expressing his confidence that the programmatic documents to be adopted at the Congress will provide a legal foundation for the country to move into a new stage of strategic development—entering the “era of the Vietnamese nation’s rise.”
Looking toward to the future from the long and glorious path of bilateral relations, and in the context of the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the Ambassador expressed belief that the positive changes in Viet Nam following the 14th National Party Congress would create new momentum for bilateral relations to develop in a deeper and more substantive manner.

Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes
Promoting Viet Nam’s comprehensive development
Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes shared a video message extending his congratulations and best wishes for the successful organization and positive outcomes of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
The Cuban Ambassador expressed his confidence and expectations that Viet Nam will continue to affirm its chosen development path: building a people-centered society, pursuing socialist-oriented development, living in harmony with the environment, maintaining peace, and actively integrating into the international community.
He noted that Viet Nam will continue to build an economy that generates increasing wealth for the nation, delivers higher and more equitable social welfare for the people, while promoting comprehensive and sustainable development. The achievements Viet Nam has attained in recent years, he said, clearly demonstrate that under the leadership of the Communist Party, with unity, resilience, and the people’s consensus, it is entirely possible to build a developed, stable, and progressive society.
According to Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Viet Nam will not only continue to consolidate its existing achievements but will also successfully realize the strategic goals set for the next stage of development./.
