Yen So kite festival to take place tomorrow

VGP - The first kite festival will be held on July 26 at Yen So Park in Ha Noi with the participation of at least 1,000 kite domestic and foreign players to show off their kite flying skills.

Kite lovers from clubs in Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Phong and Nam Dinh will also fill the skyline with their colourful creations, organizers of the event have announced.

The upcoming festival consists of a kite exhibition, kite flying contests, kite making classes, kite selling vendor stalls, folk games stations, and food and beverage stalls.

The festival is jointly held by the Vietnamese Kite Cultural Heritage Conservation Centre and Gamuda Land Viet Co. Ltd, targeting to honour the kite making and kite flying arts as a special culture in the country./.
