Weather forecast channel for fishermen to be launched

VGP - A weather forecast news-bulletin designed specifically for Vietnamese fishermen will be launched on Feb. 26.

The daily bulletin, which lasts from three to five minutes, will be broadcast at 12AM and 7: 30 PM on VTC16 channel.

It will cover weather recommendations, information on abnormal weather conditions that would affect fishermen’s activities.

The bulletin is jointly made by the Việt Nam Multi-media Corporation (VTC), the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, and Research Institute for Marine Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development./.
