Wastefulness combat must be placed on par with corruption fight: Party leader

The Party chief made the above statement while chairing a meeting of the Standing Board of the Central Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena in Ha Noi on Wednesday.

From that perspective, he called for reviewing, amending and supplementing the Party's regulations and State's laws on wastefulness prevention and control.

He urged the Central Steering Committee to promptly issue guidelines specifying behaviors of wastefulness and responsibilities of party organizations/agencies/organizations/cadres/party members in combatting wastefulness.

To also called for building a culture of integrity among officials, Party members and the public, promoting digital transformation process and reforming administrative procedures to effectively handle harassments and "petty" corruption./.
