VNA to launch direct flights linking Ha Noi, HCMC with Manila

Three flights will depart from Ha Noi on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays while four flights will take off from Ho Chi Minh City on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The direct air routes are expected to spur economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges between the two countries.

On this occasion, Viet Nam Airlines is offering various promotions such as round-trip tickets priced from US$141, including taxes and fees. This promotion is applied to customers who buy tickets between April 8- June 23 for the flights departing from June 17 to June 23 this year.

Tickets for the routes are now available on Viet Nam Airlines’ website, mobile app, and official ticket offices and agents nationwide.

Viet Nam and the Philippines established diplomatic relations on July 12, 1976 and elevated ties to strategic partnership in November 2015.

Trade between the two ASEAN member states rose from US$2.5 billion in 2010 to US$5.3 billion in 2020. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the two-way trade continued to increase, reaching US$6.7 billion in 2021 and US$7.8 billion in 2022./.
