Việt Nam’s Competitiveness Report comes out in November 2010 – Illustration photo |
The Report is expected to give an insight in Việt Nam’s economic performance and capacity, analyze its macro-economic competitiveness and recommend necessary policies for the country to raise the national competitiveness.
The Report will define prioritized orientations and specific measures on competitiveness in the areas of FDI, export, and State-owned enterprises.
Việt Nam’s Competitiveness Report is made independently by ACI with the contribution of Professor Michael E. Porter, a leading expert on competitive strategy, competitiveness, and economic development of nations, states, and regions.
It is reported that as of September 6, 2010, Việt Nam ranked 59th in the Global Competitiveness Report 2010-2011 of the World Economic Forum (WEF), up 16 steps over last year’s report./.
