In the January-August period, furniture export revenue valued US$3.3 billion, up 11.6% against the same period last year.

Viet Nam’s biggest importers are the Republic of Korea, Japan, China, and the United States.

Orders have increased by 20-30% this year, and even 50% thanks to the global economic recovery.

Most economies like Japan, the United States and the European Union have recovered, pushing up demand for wood products.

Many importers have also moved their orders from China to Viet Nam because of lower wages and the need to find an alternative to avoid risk.

Experts predicted that furniture exports could touch US$15-20 billion by 2025-30./.
