VN strongly condemns terrorist attack in Nice

VGP – Viet Nam has extended deep condolences to the Government and people of France as well as families of the victims following Thursday’s terrorist attack in Nice, which left over 80 people dead.

Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Hai Binh on Friday made the statement in response to reporters’ query on Viet Nam’s reaction to the incident.

He said that Viet Nam strongly condemned this bloody and inhuman attack, hoping that the Government and people of France will soon overcome this difficult time.

President François Hollande on Friday decided to extend the state of emergency by another three months.

“We will maintain a high level of vigilance, the state of emergency will be maintained for three months,” Mr Hollande said./.
