PM Dung lauded the two nations’ agency coordination in launching cooperative agreements on finance, including the soft loan of US$12 billion the RoK committed to investing in Viet Nam's railway infrastructure, road and urban transport.

The Vietnamese Government approved the Viet Nam-RoK Free Trade Agreement, said the PM, proposing the RoK soon ratify the Agreement.

The RoK Deputy Minister highly appraised Viet Nam’s achievements in socio-economic development, especially macro-economic stability, inflation control and high economic growth rate.

The RoK’s Ministry of Strategy and Finance will continue to cooperate with Vietnamese functional agencies in realizing agreements on finance, he confirmed.

He hoped that the Vietnamese Government will facilitate the RoK banks' plan of opening more branches in Viet Nam to support RoK businesses investing in the country.
