Regarding element scores, Viet Nam got 53.03 points for enable (ranking 63rd in the world); 43.5 points for attract (82nd); 34.73 points for growth (87th); 37.45 points for retain (89th); 26.79 points for labor and vocational skills (89th); 30.87 points for global knowledge skills (52th).
The GTCI was launched for the first time in 2013, targeting to measure the ability of countries to compete for talent. The report ranks over 100 countries according to their ability to grow, attract and retain talent.
