The PM highly spoke of results of the talks between Vietnamese Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the Lao Deputy PM and applauded achievements of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2012.

Viet Nam will do its utmost to strengthen its relationship with Laos, confirmed the PM.

In terms of the bilateral cooperation, PM Dung expected that the two nations will raise their relations to a new height in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and construction of border hamlets.

The Lao Deputy PM thanked Viet Nam’s assistance to Laos in the recent years.

Treasuring Laos’ comprehensive cooperation with Viet Nam, Mr. Asang Laoly suggested that two sides should promote cultural exchanges and economic development in the border areas and closely work together in drug and human trafficking prevention and control.

He hoped that Viet Nam will share experience with Laos in terms of socio-economic development, culture, education, and poverty reduction.
