VN-Ecuador export turnover rockets

VGP – The two-way trade turnover between Viet Nam and Ecuador reached US$659 million in 2014, up 83% against 2013, according to statistics released by the Central Bank of Ecuador.

Ecuador gained US$625.1 million from exporting to Viet Nam, up 93%. The nation’s import turnover from Viet Nam attained US$33.9 million, down 9%.

Viet Nam mainly exported data processing devices, smart phones, fishing net and footwear to Ecuador while importing marine products, mainly frozen shrimps.

The trade turnover between the two countries rose sharply over the recent years, from US$16.5 million in 2010 to US$360.7 million in 2013.
