The joy of Vietnamese women footballers

Supporting by some 5,000 fans at Thong Nhat Stadium, the Vietnamese team, with the lineup of 5-3-2 and high professionalism, rapidly quickened the match speed. However, they failed to converted their opportunities into goals.

Being physically strong, Myanmar footballers encircled the Vietnamese goalie Kieu Trinh many times, but failed to score. Nine minutes into the game, the Myanmar team’s top striker San San Maw got injured.

In the 101st minute of the match, Myanmar player Than Than Htwe received a red card.

However, Viet Nam could only win over Myanmar in the penalty shootouts.
