VN boost up exports to Norway

VGP – The two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Norway in the first three months of this year reached US $128.6 million, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Of the figure, Vietnam’s export value is estimated at US $81.9 million, up 26.35 against the same period last year and the import value is US $46.7 million, up 33.7%.

Footwear ranked first in terms of export value with US $35.2 million, up 17.6%, followed by garment US $12.3 million, up 12.8%, inferior decoration US $7.6 million, up 6.2% and seafood US $4.2 million, up 18.5%.

Norway is considered to be the potential market for Vietnam, the Ministry said.
