VN-Belgium joint committee on economic cooperation established

VGP – Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm recently gave a nod to the establishment of the Việt Nam-Belgium Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation to exchange views at governmental level for better economic ties between the two countries.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment (MoPI) was entrusted to play as the main implementer in working with Belgian relevant agencies for the organization of the first session of the Joint Committee. The event is scheduled on September 1, 2010 in Hà Nội.

A Deputy Minister of the MoPI will be the chairman of the Joint Committee.

* Permanent Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng lately turned green light for the State Bank of Việt Nam to negotiate with the Asian Development Bank about loan and non-refundable aid agreements and other relevant documents of the Program on Human Resource Development of Healthcare Sector. The negotiating round is slated for May 2010 in Hà Nội.
