The delegation paid courtesy visits to the General Secretary and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, and Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone., and held talks with the President of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune.
During the meetings, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her belief that under the leadership of the LPRP, the administration of the government, and the supervision of the National Assembly, the Lao people would continue to reap new and more significant achievements.
The Vietnamese official affirmed that Viet Nam always strongly supports Laos's national renewal, protection, construction, and development.
Viet Nam will do its best, together with Laos, to preserve and nurture the special relationship between the two nations for the sake of their people, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world, said Bui.
Notably, she stressed that the CPV Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization was willing to collaborate with the LFNC's Central Committee to effectively implement agreements between high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and States and between the two agencies.
For their part, Thongloun Sisoulith and Sonexay Siphandone expressed their delight at the development of the Viet Nam-Laos relationship, emphasizing the importance of bilateral relations and the relationship between Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia.
The Lao leaders suggested the two sides work closely to effectively implement agreements between high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and nations, thus improving the efficiency of cooperation in all fields.
In the talks with the President of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Sinlavong Khoutphaythoune, the two sides and agreed on the cooperation direction between the two agencies in the coming time.
On the occasion, Bui also met with representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Laos, laid flowers at President Kaysone Phomvihane's and President Souphanouvong's monuments; and visited Star Telecom Company (Unitel) and Luangprabang province./.
