The move was made amid escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.

Due to the host country’s current regulations, exiting Israel, especially during emergencies, and transiting through a third country to return to Viet Nam require complex procedures. These include the submission of detailed and highly reliable personal information to facilitate verification and decision-making processes involving Israeli, Vietnamese, and third-country authorities.

The embassy is closely coordinating with relevant local agencies to stay informed and provide the utmost support possible for Vietnamese nationals.

The embassy calls on all citizens to proactively register their personal details and evacuation intentions via the provided registration form. Accurate information is crucial for the embassy to devise suitable plans and provide assistance when needed. The Embassy urges Vietnamese citizens in Israel to maintain regular contact to ensure effective coordination in protecting the safety and security of the entire Vietnamese community in the country.

The Embassy of Viet Nam in Israel remains committed to doing its utmost to safeguard the rights and safety of Vietnamese nationals residing in the host country.

There are currently over 700 Vietnamese citizens in Israel and 37 Vietnamese nationals along with four people of Vietnamese origin in Iran. So far, no casualties have been reported among the Vietnamese communities in these two nations.

As of Thursday, the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran, in coordination with those in Russia and relevant countries, carried out citizen protection efforts to evacuate 18 Vietnamese citizens from Iran to a third country or return home, while keeping a close watch on the situation and being ready to take necessary protection measures for the remaining Vietnamese citizens in Iran.

In Israel, the Vietnamese Embassy is coordinating with Vietnamese representative missions in neighboring countries to implement emergency response plans and will proceed with the evacuation of Vietnamese citizens to a third country.

The embassy also opened an online registration form for Vietnamese citizens wishing to leave Israel for Viet Nam or a third country in order to compile a list and assess needs, and is working with relevant authorities to develop appropriate support plans./.
