The survey was conducted among 19,984 individuals, retailers and experts in 12 provinces and cities from September 2012 to mid January 2013. 

Ms. Vu Kim Hanh, President of the Association said that enterprises that failed to maintain their reputation mainly come from high competitive sectors like food, cosmetics and garments and textiles and perform inefficiently without effective distribution channels.   

However, 17 businesses won the titles during 17 consecutive years and the number of fresh winners also increased against last year, she added.  

Businesses honored with Vietnamese high quality product certificate must meet criteria including ensuring transparency and social accountability, environmental accountability, responsibility for employees and consumers. /.
