Vietnamese fighters win golds at WBC Amazing Muaythai Festival 2024

The delegation sent five fighters to the event and four of them were in top three.

Pham Binh Minh won his title in the men's 57kg class after beating Brazilian Harllem Silva in the final. Vo Vu Le championed in the women's 54kg easily as her Iranian opponent was unable to meet the competition requirements and not allowed to fight.

Meanwhile Tran Minh Thai finished second in the men's 51kg and Nguyen Duy Minh was third in the boys' 12-14 years old 48kg.

Over 600 athletes from at least ountries and regions participated in this unique event that presents an official WBC Muaythai tournament at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

In addition to martial arts, participants also took part in other meetings, talks and cultural activities.

The festival is an project under the WBC MuayThai to support young athletes to improve their skills through training and competing activities.

The WBC Muaythai was established in 2004 under the World Boxing Council (WBC) as a non-profit organisation, with a mission to develop professional Muaythai worldwide, as an affiliated division of the WBC, adhering to the rules set by the Board of Boxing Sport of the Sports Authority of Thailand./.
