Located in a 1,544-ha area of mountains, lakes, hills, fresh air and rich eco-system, the site is a complex of traditional Vietnamese architectures, highlighting unique characteristics of the nation’s material and immaterial culture.
Here, apart from typical architectural work of each ethnic group, like houses, communal houses, pagodas, many production tools, fine arts and craft, rice cultivation techniques will be introduced.
There are also functional and service quarters with malls, restaurants, hotels, gymnasium, parks, and resorts.
Under the PM’s Decision 540/QĐ-TTg to approve the overall planning scheme of the complex, it will made debut in 2010. At that time, 34 out of 54 ethnic villages and two functional quarters (for cultural, sports and amusement activities and for services) will be put into operation. By 2015, all 54 villages and other auxiliary facilities will be finished.
The Government pledged to invest in the project’s infrastructure system, green areas, landscape and 54 ethnic groups. Domestic and international investors are encouraged to pour cash into other items.
