Vietjet announces Jakarta-Ha Noi air route
VGP - Budget carrier Vietjet Air on September 4 announced its direct air route connecting Ha Noi and Jakarta.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who is in Jakarta to attend the 43rd ASEAN Summit and related meetings, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, and Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno attended the ceremony.
The new air route will use modern aircraft to fly four times a week between the two capital cities. This will be Vietjet Air's fourth direct route between Viet Nam and Indonesia, and this will help increase the number of weekly flights between the two countries to 92 this December.
Addressing the event, Nguyen Hong Dien and Sandiaga Uno hailed the opening of the air route connecting the two capital cities, especially on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam-Indonesia strategic partnership, contributing to boosting bilateral trade and investment.
Vietjet Air aims to transport one million passengers per year between Indonesia and Viet Nam, contributing to enhancing their strategic partnership, and serving as a bridge for cultural and economic exchanges between the two countries' peoples./.
