Pham made the above statement on Friday in reply to a reporter's inquiry about Viet Nam's response to the U.S. decision to remove Cuba from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

Pham reiterated that Viet Nam's consistent stance is to strongly support efforts toward normalizing the Cuba-U.S. relations, including the complete lifting of the U.S. embargo measures against Cuba in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations General Assembly, for the legitimate rights of the Cuban people, and for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the Americas and worldwide./.
