Viet Nam vows to continue positive contribution to peace process on Korean peninsula

VGP – Viet Nam supports peace, stability, cooperation and development on the Korean peninsula and pledges to continue positive contributions to advance the process of dialogue, cooperation and reconciliation on the Korean peninsula.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang made the above statement at a press briefing in Ha Noi on Thursday.

Le said Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong affirmed Viet Nam stands ready to make positive contributions to the process of peace and denuclearization on the Korean peninsula during his online talks with President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol on June 8.

Viet Nam consistently advocates the relevant sides' good-will to accelerate dialogues and joint efforts for denuclearization and long-lasting peace on the Korean peninsula, the Spokesperson said./.
