Viet Nam to start, inaugurate 198 projects on December 19

These projects serve for the development of strategic infrastructure to unlock all resources for national development.

The projects have a combined investment capital of over VND 983 trillion (US$37.3 billion), including 125 projects set to commence and 73 others slated for inauguration during a grand ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on December 19.

Ministerial, local and business leaders are requested to uphold their sense of responsibility to  direct agencies, units, project management boards, and contractors to make greater efforts and show stronger determination in carrying out assigned tasks. 

They are urged to call upon all officials, public employees, and workers to promptly address difficulties and bottlenecks to ensure the projects stays on schedule in line with Prime Minister's instructions.

The 14th National Party Congress is scheduled to take place in January 2026. The Congress is an especially significant political event, reflecting the Party's great wisdom, immense responsibility, and noble mission in leading the Vietnamese revolution in the new era. It carries the profound meaning of shortening the path toward socialism, bringing the aspirations of President Ho Chi Minh and the entire nation closer to realization./.
