Viet Nam to purchase COVID-19 vaccines for children aged 5-11

VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh tasked the Minister of Health to take measures to secure sufficient COVID-19 vaccines for targeted population.

The Government chief also ordered the Ministry of Health to purchase vaccines for children aged 5 to 11.

To date, Viet Nam has administered 152,201,656 COVID-19 vaccine doses, with 77,665,634 people receiving the first jabs and 68,820,229 the second jabs.

The nation confirmed 1,746,092 COVID-19 infections, including 1,358,276 recoveries and 32,610 deaths as of January 1./.
